Leaders
Cornerstone leaders are people who’ve sensed a call from God and have received confirmation through prayer, self-reflection, and conversations with other people. We believe that while all followers of Jesus are called to serve and influence the people and community around them, some are called for a season to contribute in very specific and concrete ways through church leadership. Leadership development is a strong value at Cornerstone. We believe that good leaders are people who love Jesus and walk with God, who in their weakness find strength in an on-going relationship with God. Our leaders are people with failings and shortcomings but also a strong desire to see God’s transforming work come to fruition both personally and corporately. On the leadership team, members prayerfully and boldly take risks with each other. We submit to accountability with one another for the sake of deeper inner growth and more effective outreach to our world.
