Cornerstone will be returning to Highland Park Community Outreach. We will be cleaning in and around the community center in preparation for their summer day camp, which starts next week. HPCO provides evangelistic and discipleship programs for inner city youth and children in a community known as Highland Park (a very impoverished suburb surrounded by the city of Detroit).

Last time, we did a lot of work assessing flood damage in the basement, tidying up the yard and soccer field, cleaning up the fellowship rooms and kitchen, and repairing electrical and computer issues. Visit number two will be Saturday, June 28, 12 pm to 5 pm. Rides will depart at noon from Ann Arbor at Campus Chapel and/or AACRC.

HPCO is located at 45 Ferris St, Highland Park. Directions from Ann Arbor (approximately 40 miles):

M-14 east, I-96 east, exit 186B for Davison Fwy/M-8 east, exit for M-1/Woodward Ave north (left from off-ramp), turn right at Ferris St.

Drivers are needed to car pool from Ann Arbor as well. Please let us know as early as possible if you would like to help. Contact Phil Choi at phil_choi@cornerstonecrc.net.
