A number of local churches and campus ministries, including Cornerstone, are collaborating to host an on-campus Good Friday service entitled Blood + Water. Starting with John’s depiction of the blood and water which poured from Jesus’ side when pierced by the soldier, it will combine readings, songs, images, and silence to deepen our encounter with the crucified Christ.

When: Friday, March 21st at 8 pm
Where: Lorch Auditorium, also called Askwith Auditorium (611 Tappan, between Hill and S. University)

Directions: The Lorch building (611 Tappan) is the second building on your left when going south on Tappan. However it is not the easiest to find Lorch Auditorium (also called Askwith Auditorium) when entering through the doors facing Tappan Street.

From The Forest Street Parking Structure (just south of South University): Take Willard Street which runs along the south end of the parking structure and proceed west to East University. Take a left onto E. University and then after a few strides a right onto the walkway on the south side of the School of Education. Follow this walkway to the end. (Construction will be on your left, the entrance to Lorch Hall on your right.)

From Central Campus: Take the walkway off of South University between Church St. and Tappan (across from Shapiro Library, running between the School of Social Work on the left and Martha Cook on the right). Enter through the north east corner of the building found at the end of the walkway on your right. The entrance to the auditorium (Askwith Auditorium) is found a few steps inside the entrance on your left.
