Pastor Joe is an ordained minister and has led short-term mission teams to Haiti, Mexico, and Kenya. He has taught philosophy at the University of California-Santa Barbara, Arizona State University, and philosophy / theology at Hope International University. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate (philosophy) at Arizona State University. He will serve as a missionary professor at Christ Bible Seminary (Nagoya, Japan) with Mission to the World in helping raise up the next generation of pastors and Christian leaders in Japan. He will also serve as the president of Christ Bible University (tentative name), a new English-speaking international university offering degrees in Christian ministry and Business/English communication. He will be leading a team of professors, business people, and students in lauching Christ Bible University in the next 2-5 years, networking key Japanese student leaders with Christian mentors.
