Campus Ministry Admin Coordinator
- Coordinate Friday Night gatherings.
- Praise Team
- Worship
- Fellowship
- Logistics
- Lead Campus Ministry Committee meetings.
- In charge of all other logistics in planning for ACF: room rental, finances, secretary duties, sending emails, finding speakers.
Finance Coordinator
- Pay all Bills (rents, utilities, etc.).
- Process Reimbursement Forms.
- Process salary pay to pastor(s), seminary scholarship, missionaries, etc.—wherever payment is due.
- Maintain record of all financial transactions using Quicken.
- Count weekly offering, record and deposit the offering the following Monday.
- Fill out any reimbursement forms necessary – such as when using debit cards to pay for something, etc.
- Reconcile all bank statements to Quicken and file the reconciled papers.
- Responsible for: Renters Insurance paper work, DTE paper work, Office Rent paper work – although many will fall upon Facilities Head SErvant, the Finance Head Servant will need to handle any paper work necessary.
- Provide quarterly finance report to the council.
- Present annual budget to the congregation before end of January.
- Set budget with the budget committee at the end of the year (preferably around November and finalize by mid-December).
- Know our contacts at the CRCNA Finance Department and HR.
- File paper work with the state every year.
- Renew the P.O. Box.
- Work with IRS as necessary.
- Present quarterly financial reports to the department heads and the council.
- Work on church budget with council for the next fiscal year.
- Attend Council Meetings.
Fellowship Coordinator
- Coordinate overall activities of the church whether it be food-related, physical activities, special events, etc.
- Seek out volunteers in planning, coordinating, and execution of the plans.
- Work with the refreshments coordinator to ensure people have volunteered to provide weekly refreshments.
- Retrieving the refreshments box and Juice Dispenser from storage 45 minutes before the service.
- Maintain and check the items in the refreshments box: utensils, plates, napkins, cups, juice mix, and other necessary items. There are usually about 150 of each in the box.
- Before service, make 5 gallons of the pink lemonade (follow instructions). And set it on the counter with cups.
- Typically, those providing refreshments will setup the table, but if not, the responsibility will fall on the fellowship head servant. Usual set up is two tables set parallel to each other in the fellowship hall (this may change depending on the number of food items in addition to plates, napkins, etc.).
- After fellowship, a team should be cleaning up the fellowship hall and the kitchen. Make sure everything is back in the refreshment box/kit. The juice dispenser should be cleaned out and dried and put back it its original box. These should be returned to the storage.
- EVENTS TO OVERSEE
- Monthly lunch – provide simple lunch after service on first Sunday of each month. If food is provided at different Sundays, then no monthly lunch (i.e. Thanksigiving dinner).
- Graduation Banquet – Seek volunteers to buy gifts and help with the food. The event should be executed at the church recommended Saturday evening.
- Annual Picnic – outdoor service at local Metro Park (usually at Dexter Metropark). Make reservation for the shelter and coordinate the food, games, etc. for the event.
- Welcoming Picnic – fellowship only handles the food related aspects of the event. The planning is handled by Welcoming Department and should work closely with them on the plans.
- Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner – held the Sunday before the actual holiday. The tables need to be setup prior to the service and see volunteers for food and other areas.
- Activities – it’s recommended to have at least two church wide activities, such as bowling and gym night, but more activities can be planned as necessary.
- SUBCOMMITTEES
- Refreshments – work with refreshment coordinator to setup a monthly refreshement schedule as well as monthly clean up crew schedule.
- Community Groups – Work with respective hosts to determine whether to have a churh wide activity or just gather at the respective hosts’ homes for dinner and fellowship.
- Rides – Ensure the our members are being transported to and from their location to our church and other events. Get the name of drivers and reward them on a monthly basis with gift cards to local stores (should not exceed $15).
- Special Events – any special events coordinated by fellowship department.
- Publications
- Retreats – help and work with coordinator to plan the annual retreat, which is typically in the fall semester.
Missions Coordinator
- Coordinates World Missions and Home Missions.
- Initiates programs and events that encourage congregational awareness of and involvement in missional work.
- Organizes work and service projects on a quarterly basis.
- Maintains communication with missionaries.
- Receives updates from missionaries.
- Disseminates missionary updates to congregation (via bulletin announcements, website articles, etc.)
- Works with treasurer to ensure missionary support checks are sent.
Welcoming Coordinator
- Compiles the Cornerstone Welcoming Packet
- Conducts newcomer welcoming on Sundays
- Gathering personal info
- Providing welcoming info
- Disseminates list of newcomers to Pastor, Education Shepherd, Small Group Leaders, and Office Manager on a weekly basis.
- Follows up with newcomers until they join a small group.
- Coordinates welcoming events on an as-needed basis.

- Leader of the ACF praise team and leads worship every Friday night
Campus Ministry Praise Team Member

Campus Ministry Fellowship Coordinator
- In charge of planning activities for ACF: games, apt night, class night, snacks, fellowship events, ice skating, bowling and coordinating rides for events
Children’s Ministry Coordinator
- Work with Education Shepherd to select, purchase, and plan children’s education curriculum.
- Coordinate children’s Sunday worship.
- Recruit and coordinate teachers.
- Find teacher substitutes.
- Prepare children’s part in special worship services (e.g., Christmas, Easter, etc.).
Pianist
- Plays during the Sunday Worship Service

Praise Team Leader
- Leads praise for Sunday worship

Praise Team Member
- Participates in weekly practices
- Participates in leading Sunday Praise
- Participates in leading ACF Praise
- Participates in leading praise for other church events (e.g. Fall Retreat, etc)
Urban Plunge Coordinator
- Recruite Urban Plunge Team (at least 3 months prior to the Plunge).
- Find one main host site for the entire duration of the plunge (maintain contact with them).
- Find several work site ministries(maintain contact with them).
- Find speakers.
- Assign reading materials for the team’s prep meetings (3-4).
- Organize four prep meetings.
- Lead reading discussions.
- Delegate tasks to groups and individuals (skits, praise, etc.).
- Manage the finances.
- Individual fundraising – help everyone meet their goals.
- Group fundraising – organize/delegate fundraising events.
- Keep track of budget and prepare a finance report at the conclusion of the Plunge.
- Initiate and manage the Plunge schedule.
- Facilitate communication with the congregation via bulletin inserts, slide-show presentations, etc.
